Step 1 – Secure your Beams
Rack It Safety Pins are required to ensure your Beams are secured to the Uprights on your Rack It system. To install, simply slide 1 Safety Pin into each Beam-Upright junction. Couple with the appropriate Support Braces so your shelves can reach their maximum 1000kg or 600kg weight loading.
These Safety Pins are designed for both the 1000KG and 600KG ranges and come in pack of 20 – enough to secure 5 shelves.

For a small garage workshop, the Rack It 600KG does the job. Each shelf holds up to 600kg evenly distributed, for a total weight bearing of 2,400kg per bay. The narrower 430mm or 530mm depth footprint fits tight walls and keeps your floor space free. Slot and lock with a pin, only a rubber mallet is needed for assembly. Build out with extra bays, shelves or accessories from the same range (available at Bunnings) as the workshop grows.
For a garage storage setup with Rack It 600KG, start with a base bay and add more shelves and accessories over time. Each shelf holds up to 600kg evenly distributed across a 430mm or 530mm depth. Choose between MDF or Wire shelves. Add Drawer Kits, Hook Plates and Hooks as your storage needs grow. Expand over time and grab additional components from Bunnings.

Each shelf in the Rack It 600KG range holds up to 600kg evenly distributed when the load is spread across the full shelf surface. Maximum 4 shelves per bay. Spread heavy items centrally and avoid stacking weight on one edge. Follow the anchoring instructions in the box every time.
