Step 1 – Select your Beams
Rack It 1000KG Beams are available in 972, 1264, 1872, 2464 and 2765mm widths. Two Beams are required for each shelf you want in your system.
These 1872mm Beams create a useable shelf width of 1800mm.
To complete Step 1, you will need the appropriate amount of Support Braces and Safety Pins (2760238) to reach the 1000kg weight loading per shelf.
This 1872mm Beam requires 4 Support braces (I/N 2760514) for each shelf.

To guarantee weight loading and shelf integrity – 4 Braces (I/N: 2760514) must be used on each 1872mm Shelf.
For heavier workshop gear, the Rack It 1000KG is the strong pick. Each shelf holds up to 1,000kg evenly distributed across a 645mm depth. That’s plenty of working surface for the bulky stuff. Slot and lock with a pin, a rubber mallet is all you need to assemble. Build out with extra bays, shelves or accessories from the same range (available at Bunnings) as the workshop grows or complement with PRO drawers and cabinets.
For a garage storage setup with Rack It 1000KG, start with a base bay and add over time. Each shelf holds up to 1,000kg evenly distributed across a 645mm depth. Choose between MDF or Wire shelves. Add Drawer Kits, Pegboards, Hook Plates, and Castors (for 900mm Uprights only) as your storage needs expand. Level up with Rack It PRO Cabinets and Drawers.

Each shelf in the Rack It 1000KG range holds up to 1,000kg evenly distributed when the load is spread across the full shelf surface. Avoid point-loading at the edges and keep heavy gear central. Maximum 4 shelves per bay. Follow the anchoring instructions in the box every time.
